The veneer is mounted on the labial side of the tooth, the surface underneath is minimally prepared. Typically veneers are made of porcelain, as this material remains of the highest aesthetic quality.

Veneers are used mainly for patients who want to change the shape of their teeth, or get rid of stains. They are often used to fix teeth that are mechanically damaged.

Our practice offers the following veneers:

composite veneers

Porcelain veneer

Procera veneers (very thin - 0.25 mm and highly aesthetic)

If the patient does not have the crown of the tooth, or it is damaged we use a prosthetic crown.

Dental restoration:

Restoration dentistry is aimed mainly at treating tooth decay . Tooth decay is a disease of the enamel and dentin , the hard tissues of the tooth. Left untreated, it can lead to damage and irritation of the pulp , internal tissue , which is associated with pain and exclusion from the process of the tooth gum. In extreme cases, untreated tooth decay can become a cause of infection and affect the functioning of the whole body .

Treating caries involves planning and filling the decayed area . After removing the sick, decayed tooth loss remains . Filling the cavity in is necessary to separate the healthy tooth tissue from the external environment and close all possible access routes for bacteria. This procedure should be durable, clean, and restore the original shape of the tooth.

Nowadays mostly composites , GIC and ceramics are used, depending on your needs and the treatment possibilities.

Periodontics is a branch of dentistry dealing with the complex treatment of periodontal disease (a disease that results in the loss of about 50% of teeth) . Symptoms such as cervical exposure , sensitivity to temperature changes, lengthening of the crown, formation of gaps , movement of teeth , loosening or even loss , bad breath , bleeding , swelling and redness of the gums indicate gum disease and other tissues surrounding the teeth - periodontitis . This area has a variety of treatment methods , but regardless of the form of the disease and its severity , oral hygiene always plays a leading role in the treatment process .

We provide comprehensive care and execute:

professional health briefings

removal of scale and plaque

splinting loose teeth

closed curettage , curettage open

improve the aesthetics of periodontal ( gum recession coverage )

guided periodontal tissue regeneration

guided bone tissue regeneration

During this procedure, in addition to cleaning and polishing the root surface (root planning ) diseased gum located deep in the pocket is removed, ie. inflammatory granulation tissue , which is directly responsible for the destruction of bones. Closed curettages are most commonly used because they do not require detachment from the surface of the roots of the gum and bone. Their advantage is less trauma to the surrounding tissues and faster healing of the gingival tissue . The main drawback is the lack of insight into gingival pockets .

Curettages opened associated with incision and detachment . gingival flap . Sick subgingival tissue , or inflammatory granulation tissue is then easy to see , which increases the chances of its total elimination. This treatment usually ends using the chosen method of supporting playback of the bones .

Controlled regeneration of bone tissue

Guided tissue regeneration treatments allow a renewal of periodontal tissues . Regeneration by definition, is the restoration of lost or damaged structure. Regeneration is the process of creating a new cement, periodontal and alveolar bone following relevant surgery in patients which have been exposing root surfaces of teeth due to periodontal disease . Since the regeneration leads to the restoration of periodontal , increases the longevity of teeth .

Regeneration is subjected to the jaw bone that has been damaged by the removal of a tooth or periodontal ( remaining tooth tissue damage and loss of surrounding bone ) . Reconstruction of bone may also require the planned implant placement in place of a missing tooth . Guided bone regeneration can be used , biological or synthetic preparations .

Human tissue has the ability to regenerate, or rebuild lost bone . But this process can sometimes need help . To rebuild the bones products such as Bio -Oss and Bio -Gide are used , which support the process of bone formation . In case of failure of such implant procedure a tooth will not have enough support in the structure of bones or achieve very poor functional outcome or aesthetic . The decisive factor in deciding which technique to use is guided tissue regeneration of bone (GBR) is preventing intraosseous implantation of insufficient quantity and quality of the patient's own bone . Statistically, 41 % of procedures placing implants require additional GBR.

After completion of the guided tissue regeneration , bone is constantly changed, and subsequent X-ray images are often indistinguishable from their bones .

Dental surgery

Dental surgery is more than just the extraction of teeth it includes a wide range of treatments including procedures that support other areas od dentistry. For example endodontics, a root end resection. Periodontics- periodontal surgery. Dental prosthetics and finally the most up to date technology – implantology. We are able to perform all procedures in our practice that do not require hospitalization. All treatments are done under local anesthesia.

The variety of surgical treatments that we offer:

tooth extraction

surgical removal of a retained tooth

root resection, including multirooted teeth

hemisection, radectomy

periapical cysts

closing of the oronasal fistula

peridontal surgery including controlled regeneration of tissue

peridontal plastic surgery

lingual frenectomy

Combined with modern day prosthetics our clients can expect excellent results.

This procedure is aimed at saving a molar with advanced inflammation of the gum area around the root area. After a root canal treatment, half of the tooth is cut off and removed.

Is when one of the roots of a mulirooted tooth needs to be cut and removed. This procedure is carried out when there to significant damage to one of the roots and it no cannot be regenrated. The remainder of the root or roots are healthy and after appropriate treatment and reconstruction the tooth can serve its purpose for many years after the procedure.

Surgical removal of an impacted tooth

An impacted tooth is one that fails to erupt within a specific time frame. It might be slightly exposed or not at all. This problem mainly affects wisdom teeth. Surgical removal of such a tooth is more complicated and takes more time than a simple extraction.

Root apex resection

Involves the removal of part of the root which contains the diseased material. During surgery the surgeon will enter through the gingiva and expose the bone and remove the infected or inflammed tissue together with the apex of the root.
